Questions.
Do I need Anki?
Yes. You keep studying in Anki, on desktop or phone. Card Polish only prepares the deck file.
Will it overwrite my cards?
No. Your original file is never changed, and only empty fields are filled unless you choose otherwise.
Will I lose my progress?
The export is designed to update your existing cards and keep your review history. We test this before launch. Back up your collection before importing.
What does it cost?
You pay with credits for what is processed and see the cost before every run. You can preview a few cards first. Prices are announced at launch.
Do you keep my deck?
Your deck is uploaded to Card Polish for the run. Only the text that needs new content, such as a word for its audio, is sent to AI providers. How long uploaded decks are kept will be stated here before the app opens.
Is Card Polish affiliated with Anki?
No. It is an independent tool that works with Anki decks.
